Mars House of Broken Cats is not a rescue.  We have our own personal special needs cats, but we don't take fosters requests.

We try to organize one event per season.  Follow us on social media to find out when you can meet some very special local cats.

Where do you find your host sites?

I ask local businesses if they would like to partner with us to host an event.  We have been fortunate to have so many places say YES!  Most events are hosted in the North Central MD, Eastern Panhandle of WV, Northern VA, and South Central PA areas.

Where do you find the special needs cats for your events?

When I have a location and date for an event, I contact the local rescues and shelters in the area to see if they'd like to participate.  Each rescue is responsible for their own adoption procedures and policies.

I have a kitten I want to put up for adoption, can I bring it to one of your events?

Mars House of Broken Cats only works with local rescues and animal shelters.  Please see my Resources page for information on our partner rescues.

Can I help?

YES!  You are welcome to help me organize an event.  But even better, please reach out to a rescue in your area and offer to foster, organize a fund raiser, or run an event.  They need the help more than I do.
