Jasper/Ed Turner
Jasper/Ed Turner
Meet Ed Turner, known to his foster family as Jasper. Jasper was part of a TNR event in a very bad cat colony near Charles Town, WV. At his release, he slowly limped out of his trap, turned around, walked to the humans there, and laid down at their feet asking for help. How can anyone say no to such a request. He was taken into care, treated at the vet, and sent to a foster for his quarantine. Named for the road where he was trapped, Ed Turner Lane, he then arrived at his medical foster's house. That's me! He was a suspected of having a neurological condition due to his continued limping and tremors. After a new name, some observation, food, and cuddles, I had some suspicions. I took him to the vet for testing and xrays. Thus began our long journey of treatment and healing from Toxoplasmosis and a strange bone eating infection. Today Jasper is ready for his forever family.
Jasper/Ed Turner has vet bills totaling $2,125.52 between December 2024 and March 2025. He required many months of strong medications, physical therapy, repeated x-rays and blood tests. Thankfully he made a full recovery! Today he zooms around the house at high speed, no limping.
He beat a massive Toxoplasmosis infection and a bone eating infection that almost resulted in an amputation. He is 100% recovered and ready for his forever home.
He is looking for a bestie to love with all his heart. Is it you?
